    We received 2 payments, I assumed this was due to having a joint account.

    Do you have a joint mortgage? My better half is getting the £50 paid to the account that pays the mortgage as she does not have NW current account that could be my NW account theoretically, it happens to be a Santander joint account.

    same here - though I do have a savings account too. both payments went into the joint current account
