Help on haggling with Sky

I am writing with asking for advice - but not for me for my my mum.
she is currently paying an eye watering £92.00 on her sky broad band package .. she is on a fixed income.
Any advice before I put a call to them asking?

Do your homework, see what's available in the area. If you can evidence a much better deal elsewhere, they may make the decision to match or offer something more competitive.

What package is she on as that doesn't sound like just a broadband package. Sounds like it has a calls package and probably some TV element in it too.

Broadband with no extras is about £26

Also is she still in a minimum term or a rolling monthly contract.

Check her bill and see exactly what her package is. No way is £92 per month just for broadband.  £43 is their most expensive offering
Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid

Even with Sky's inflated prices, difficult to see how a broadband only package could get to £92. Must have some other packages included.

£92 is plausible for broadband, TV in some form (Netflix? Sky Q/HD/Stream?), inclusive call packages and maybe extras like Call Waiting.with the odd out of inclusive calls.

Look at the bill to see what's being paid for.

As an aside I checked my mother's extortionate BT bill ,a few years ago now, and found that she hadn't got a call package but was in the habit of making long phone calls to sister, nieces etc including to mobiles - she ran up over £200 in calls alone one quarter!!

    Do some homework beforehand:
    1) What is her current package - eg BB speed, any calls package, TV, mobile sims, etc
    2) What does she actually need - eg no point in having some of that if she's not using the speed, can call on her mobile, watches freeview channels only, etc.
    3) What is available with the competition to cover what she actually needs
