All part of the process, not an indicator of any intentions
The real indicator is what they do just before the hearing fee needs paying, a few weeks before the hearing, In say 6 months time ! Until then its a mundane process3 -

Well, not sure what this means but the court sent a letter stating both parties need to send evidence, witness statements, evidence, by 29th January 2026. And Smart need to pay £27.00 by 2pm 5th February 2026.
Was not expecting that so soon.0 -
This is fairly quick action by your local court but you will now get phone calls from DCB Legal begging you to pay them less money to settle the case. Ignore. Preferably don't answer. They will discontinue within 4 weeks from now.
However you know how to draft a WS and evidence because the NEWBIES thread post 2 tells you. Or just search the forum and copy & adapt one from 2025 that includes Excel v Smith and VCS v Edward.
Prepare that, in case the NoD doesn't come through by 29th. But we suspect it will.
BTW we will need to see the NoD please or we can't count your success.
