Non POFA Compliant NTK - Missed Appeal Window

Hi there,
I have made a bit of mistake, I have often used this forum and have read Newbies for another PCN which I am in the middle of fighting, however confused myself after receiving a separate non-POFA compliant NTK which I just completely ignored and was planning on waiting until a court claim.
I now see that I should have appealed it at the time and just won at POPLA.
I have missed the appeal window (for NCP) and therefore cannot get a POPLA number to appeal.
I have received various letters, most recently from Moorside Legal.
I am just wondering is it best to send a letter to Moorside explaining that the NTK does not conform to POFA, or just wait until the court claim and put it in my defense at that stage?
I am guessing the latter but just wanted some clarification.
Sorry in advance for wasting the time of anyone on the forum with this!

You can make a formal complaint to NCP and they are required to treat it as an appeal.
Ignore the utterly incompetent Moorside Legal unless you receive a Letter of Claim (LoC). You can guarantee that if they do issue a claim, they will fail to comply with CPR 16.4(1)(a) which means you can file a defence that is most likely to have the claim struck out at allocation.3 -
Thank you for your help, that is good to know!
