Dear Forum. I opened a savings account on 31/05/23 and was paid some interest on 30/05/24. Which Tax Year does this fall into ? 2023/4 or 2024/5 ?

It would be 2024/25, as that was when you received the interest.1

You received (some) interest in the 2024/25 tax year so that is the year that applies1

I am currently downloading/obtaining certificates from 17 different account providers for 2024/25 HMRC interest reporting purposes.2
