Hi
A bit of a noob sorry but received a N1SDT form for parking in a car park in 09/2023. With euro car parks and dcb on the form. I haven't responded to any prior letters. The newbie form said to not use the template if I've received this. Total charge for the pcn is £170. Claim form issued 08/04/25. Total claiming now £280.

It will be from the CNBC in Northampton, an N1SDT claim form , ECP & Dcb Legal, ( not dcbl )
post the issue date from the top right
Post a redacted picture of the POC on the lower left of the claim form after hiding the VRM details first, leaving the date and wordings showing
Ensure that the rest of the claim form is covered up or missing, out of shot, no personal information or private information allowed on mse2 -

Login to your government gateway account and navigate to MCOL, use the claim reference and the password to enter and complete the AOS online following the Dropbox explanation in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum. Then logout, do nothing else in MCOL, just acknowledge receipt of the claim form
Then study the first 2 posts in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum, start drafting your defence based on the template, you will be using all of it, with just a few changes to suit Your case2 -
Just use the template defence. Couldn't be easier except DCB Legal now put the 'date of contravention'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes. It's clear what to change. You can see the difference when you read the usual shahib para 3 that the Template Defence links.
Spot the line to remove.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
