It would be remis of anyone not to mention any protentional pitfalls.
Hence why on the back of chargebacks we have to advise customers, that if the retailer does not contest. They can use other means to reclaim the funds...Life in the slow lane1 -
If the OP simply stops paying the DD then I suspect Microsoft will suddenly decide that they do have enough information to confirm that the OP is the account holder, at least as far as legal enforcement action is concerned.
