I no longer want to keep the car as it no longer meets my needs as it’s EV and I no longer have access to a charger after a divorce.
It also has zero change of meeting the GFV… we but any car have quoted £14500.
I contacted the finance company as I have reached the 50% paid stage…they are saying to terminate it will cost me £2182.
I was under the impression that after reaching the 50% paid stage but there is nothing further to pay other than anything not considered fair wear and tear and millage outside of the agreement amount.
The car is way under the agreed millage and it excellent condition.
Am I wrong for believing that there will be nothing to pay ??

I'm no expert but your total finance package is stated as £40,604.39 and they say you paid paid £18,672.35 so you have not reached the 50% point.
There are tens of thousands of chargers around the country, either top-up as you go, at work etcSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
