Along the same lines, all of my investments across several accounts were up today, except CSH2, which fell 0.017%.

Snap. But where - and more importantly why? - do you get three decimal places pricing?

Google Finance. When the share price is 117,760p, then why not? It's a 20p drop, so 2 significant figures seems ok.

Lies, damned lies, statistics and share prices. In reality it appreciated today. On Friday it closed on an uptick and today it closed on a downtick.
As an aside, I recently discovered the beauty of limit pricing. I sold some CSH2 today so I set the price it was likely to reach at some stage today without having to log on and off while the spread veered away from c.0.02% to sometimes 0.10% or more. (The sale was to buy T212's cash ISA which I am grateful to you for mentioning last week - today is the last day for the bonus.)

Share prices are the markets best guess of future earnings, but how can you estimate them now?
As one CEO put it - how can we make earnings projections when we are one tweet away from a 46% tariff?

I got a little giddy with the big drops and made a few selections for further investigation and did some buying and selling as portfolio management. Some of those shares earmarked for investigation have recovered a lot of the loss. I have a few picks for this week, This, what looks like, personal whim affecting markets continues and how I position my portfolio for uncertainty I'm not sure. I'll just keep buying; my bit of gold and fixed interest being a bit of balast.
