Yodel parcel not picked up

I (probably for the last time) bought a Yodel label from EBay last week. Dropped off and have receipt e-mail.
The only tracking update is “we came to collect your parcel but wasn’t available. Please rearrange your collection “. This from 6 days ago.
Anyone else seen this, am I supposed to do something, I presume they would go most days to this shop?

I would guess they would only call at the parcelshop if something has been scanned in as waiting or if they have something to drop off, and the likelihood of someone saying 'seeing as you're here we've also got this one...' seems remote I would guess that they've left a way for the shop to contact them if they find it but wouldn't be holding my breath....
I suspect you're going to need to claim for lost in transit.0 -

Whilst most of the moans on here have been about Evri I personally find Yodel as a seller worse than all the other couriers entirely. I love it as a buyer as I get delivery updates and so I know when they are going to abandon it on my drive, but as a seller it’s dreadful.
My Yodel experience is only on Vinted , I don’t offer Yodel on eBay and obviously going forward no one will be able. I have had parcels sit in the shop for days, I’ve dropped parcels off, got a receipt and my Vinted account doesn’t even show it sent for 3 days, all the while Vinted are warning me I need to post or else sale will be cancelled. As a buyer a family member has had multiple problems with Yodel saying things have been delivered when they haven't. Or delivering them to the wrong village nowhere near us. These have all been from a large established business that for some reason uses only Yodel. Evidently the cost savings of using them must still outweigh all the losses from refunds or sending replacement items for those that are never delivered.
With Evri we sometimes have to wait for the delivery until the driver has enough parcels to make it worth their while coming out here (!) but we pretty much always do get the parcel eventually.
(I understand why the driver needs it to be worth their while, and it's an indictment of the poor pay, but it is frustrating to be lied to by delivery updates saying things like we weren't at home or the driver couldn't access our property!)0 -
