Home Insurance - Is my property a coach house?

Hi all,
I would like some help in determining what my property is classed as? This is my first home and I purchased specialist coach house insurance, which was a lot more expensive than I anticipated. My broker said that they actually classed my property as a town house, but I am unsure if this would be the case for all brokers.
My property is similar to a coach house in the sense that it is a flat above a garage, but the single garage is my own. There is also an archway underneath my property for other resident access.
After some research (I could be wrong here), seeing as I have a living space (finished and heated hallway as well as a utility room) on the ground level, and I have no other garages underneath my property, this disqualifies my property as a coach house.
Does anyone have any better understanding of this, please? This classification could save me hundreds of pounds in insurance!
Many thanks

Is it freehold?
Who owns the land under the arch?
How many floors is it?
Is it attached to properties on both sides?0 -

I'd be tempted to say it's an end of terrace then, get quotes and BEFORE buying contact the seller you are interested in and double check that they are happy with the description.
To me a townhouse is 3+ story building, a narrow tall thing.
Coach houses have the issue that part of your building is at a minimum leased to someone else which introduces a host of problems in the event of a claim but that isnt the case here either.1 -
If there is nobody else above or below you then in what sense is it a "flat"?0
