Hi I've been sent a court hearing date for a parking fine, with dcb legal continuing to try and call me 😄

I have some q

- from what I understand, I will basically read out my WS?

- are dcb likely to pull out at this point?

- my situation is because I was working self employed at a location and we'd always been told that we could park there as like permission for workers. One day this changed, no idea if the owners changed for the parking lot (is this relevant? How do I find out?), and a staff member forgot to tell me that I had to log my reg no. From that point...so a technicality. Would using my wage slip for that shift help? Would using previous or subsequent wage slips in that area help or incriminate me? It was during COVID, I was an essential worker, worth mentioning?

- following from the above, any citation evidence I should add/omit from the WS from the general one?

- should I omit the whole photograph of the sign being poor...if that was not the issue here given the arrangements workers had?

Ty

NO. IF IT GETS TO A HEARING YOU JUST STATE YOUR MAIN POINTS AND FOLLOW THE PROMPTS FROM THE JUDGE.

    - are dcb likely to pull out at this point?

YES, UNLESS THE CLAIMANT IS EXCEL OR VCS. WHICH CLAIMANT?

YES. TELL ALL OF THE ABOVE AS YOUR STORY.

Thank you, I would guess years on the sign has changed years on. Does it matter? Should the pic be taken at around the same time of day I was there years ago? Thnxx

Just received notification that europarks have instructed their solicitor and the courts that they're discontinuing proceedings 😮

Great! As expected but what a relief for you! Congrats. You mean Euro Car Parks?

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

But we do need to see a pic of the NoD attached to DCB 's email please, otherwise @Umkomaas can't count your success in his thread of discontinuances.

Please stand up and be counted!  :)
