Hi,
This is only my third month of being on UC. When I first applied my bank balance was £5818. I know you have to tell them if it's over £6000 but when it's a next assessment period do I need to tell them it is now less than £5200? Thanks

If your total capital is less than £6,000 then there is no need to declare anything as it makes no difference.
Do be aware though that your total capital to declare does not include any income you have received in that assessment period, but it does include more than just cash in the bank.
