Gas only fixed tariff?
I was on a dual fuel fix but moved my electricity to Octopus when I got an EV. This left me with a gas only fix with my current supplier, which is now coming to an end.
I want to switch to a new supplier/fix but can't find any gas only ones, only dual fuel or electric only.
Am I missing something or is it just not possible to get a gas only fix?

Am I missing something or is it just not possible to get a gas only fix?You should be able to fix with your current supplier (if they offer any) or switch your gas to Octopus and take one of their gas fixes.Other than those options, there aren't many suppliers that will accept a gas-only switch.

Went through similar search in the past month. British Gas offers gas only accounts/ fixes on its quote page.
The other alternative to moving gas to Octopus is to move both to another supplier that offers an EV tariff with a gas fix.
You should be able to find ones from EDF (GoElectric), Eon Next (NextDrive) and BG. Ovo may be an option if you have a compatible car/charger for their bolt on - but the cheap rate is for ev charging only so no benefit of time shifting other appliance use.
Others are available

Thanks, will have a look at British Gas.
I've looked at other EV tariffs but for me Intelligent Octopus Go suits my needs best. Plus I'm loving the weekly free Caffé Nero drink!0 -
So Energy will do gas only, and they offer fixed tariffs. As usual the web site isn't exactly helpful if you just want to find what's available. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
We're with British Gas and they do gas and electric as two separate accounts even if you have both with them. We've just switched our electric to another of their fixes, so have a fix for both, but with different end dates. Their gas isn't as competitive as their electric, (their March electric fix was the cheapest we could find) but it's not too bad.0

Current Gas fix is competitive with other suppliers currently available tariffs.0
