Hello all, the sun is trying to shine but it's clouding over already. I didn't sleep much last as I had a poorly tummy, so I feel like a wet rag today.
I have stripped the bed this morning and will hang the bedding out, I'm hoping it will dry a bit, then I'll make the bed later after letting it air. I have a chicken to roast for lunch but I don't know if I can face it yet, I'll see how I feel later.
Hugs to the poorly ones and anyone in need.
nan xx

Morning all, weather is changing
, there was a sprinkle of rain on the glass roof in the kitchen when I got up,it's still sunny but lots of clouds coming over, and much cooler.
I got a lot of stuff shifted yesterday from upstairs after decorating etc. Some went to the skip at DH work, and a lot in the loft! Still some of the car stuff left but DS bought an outdoor storage cupboard for it.I need to go through my wardrobe to check out my summer clothes, probably need to get a few lighter weight things for our hols in Corfu next month, might do that today as we have nothing planned.Tea will be some roast beef I froze.Hope it's a good Sunday for you all.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning all
We still have the sun which is nice rain from Tuesday I think so must make the most of today, I spent a good few hours in the garden yesterday so it’s looking much better now, I also moved the ‘pond’ which is actually a sheep trough, it was at the back of the garden by the neighbours fence but she has a large camellia up against the fence so the pond gets very full with petals and leaves, OH provided the muscle and we have put it by the back door so we can see it more I actually prefer it there, I need to get some bedding plants for the hanging baskets but I think it’s a bit too early yet, I have ordered some hostas online which are my favourite they are so hardy and come back every year for a brilliant display so I will get them in as soon as they arrive.
I have stripped the beds and got it going in the wm it’s a good drying day, OH can remake the beds later as I hate that job 😬
Roasted chicken legs for dinner with various salads might try for dinner in the garden but it was still too cold yesterday.
Mehefin and Nanny hope you both feel better soon xx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Good afternoon all
Not as warm today but still dry and little glimpses of sun.
I have been Mia for a couple of days. Mrs next door is still in hospital and the news is not good, we are still getting our heads around it and supporting Mr ND as much as we can.i wont say too much at the moment as it's their business, and to be honest I'm still too upset.
I'm going to do a roast later, we have been eating when we have wanted to the last few days so hopefully it will get eaten.
Sorry to bring the thread down but thanks for letting me tell you.
Hugs to all, take care.10 -
