I switched from EDF to BG on 27th March before their Fixed rate ended as per Martin Lewis recomendation. I gave the meter readings to BG who sent them to EDF. I received an email saying we are sorry you are leaving, then 29th an energy bill.
When I looked on my app I was in credit by £39.30.
on 3rd April they took my monthy payment od £119.36, so I queried this and eventually they got back to me and was told I would get a refund in 10 days.
I have gone onto my app today and is showing I am £1,672.79 in credit. How can this be?
I had a smart meter I had the second generation one fitted by BG

I have screenshot all the entries from 8th April of the reverse account charge?
Thanks to all who post comps :)

Do you mean 3rd April not 3rd March ?

Is the credit of £1672.79  with BG or Edf ?

Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

    Oops yes, thanks
The credit is on EDF app, I was told not to delete the direct debit set up with them until they refunded me

I have been with EDF since May 2022
