Booking .com and LMDC

Hello,

I have a similar issue. Except I booked through the booking.com site and once booked I received an email from LMDC. I demanded my money back because I said I didn't book through them and they said I booking was different to what I had booked. They said I couldn't get a refund (of deposit) and mentioned nothing about cancellation fees. I've only paid the deposit of over £200 but they're now demanding £1900+ or court proceedings. 

Does anyone has any dealing of actually going to court with LMDC.
