Claim form received from the CNBC, have sent my acknowledgement online and submitted my defence - note that the defence text box online has a limited number of lines (120) and so the defense template will need to be tweaked. Also suggest to save and continue when submitting a defence as there is a timeout. Very useful template provided on the Template defence to adapt for all parking cases with added 'admin/DRA' costs - edited in 2024.

But that's not what the Template Defence thread told you to do.

I might change it at some point to use MCOL (to make the defence more concise and to prevent the email issues) but the current advice is clearly not to do it that way.

Its exactly the same online as it is on the paper form, it populates the defense form and has the section 3. Defense box, other than sending it as an email, there is no difference. Its time stamped and there is an audit trail including the Acknowledgement of Service above it

Yep we know both ways work. You've just lost some of the points in the defence though.

i didn't lose the points, I had to make some tweaks, a few of the lines weren't relevant and it very clearly states to edit accordingly so all good

Just received my Directions Questionnaire and filling it out following the 12 steps. Does anyone know if a digital signature would be acceptable? I think the signature box is locked as can't add in a signature via Adobe. Alternatively I can add the signature just next to the box?

I think that either would be acceptable ( I assume that you downloaded the N180 pdf and are completing it ?   )
