Thank you for the start @Gers
Looks lovely out, so I'll take a bag of bits to the cs.
Sweet peas have done well, not sure if to risk planting them out yet, nights are still quite chilly.
Take care

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Safe journey to Glasgow. IZZY good luck for your new venture this afternoon. SNOOZER, just (HUGS). Well done with DGDs swimming Dp1.
Another gorgeous day in store. I could get used to these afternoons sitting in the sun reading, but sadly it aint going to last beyond the w/e.. It never does last long here does it! There isn't much colour in the back garden yet and I can't wait to get some geraniums in the empty pots once the nights get a bit warmer.. I started some Sweet Pea seeds off indoors about a month ago and for some reason some are well on their way now yet no sign of life in others. No idea why.
Friday Tidy today with a dust and vac all around. The sooner I make a start the sooner I will finish!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all xx

Morning all. Still very cold here in the mornings and we may have had an overnight frost.
Looked after DGS 18 months yesterday but DD has arranged extra days at the childminder from September so he won't come here so often. We'll probably swap to doing a couple of days picking him up to help them out late afternoons.
Today I need to catch up with the ironing, make a cake, buy a birthday card etc, etc. Usual day really! We'll have the remainder of the beef casserole tonight and then tomorrow I have to be up and out early as I'm dancing at Oxford Folk Festival, starting with a spot outside the Ashmolean at 10.30am.
Hope everyone is ok and hugs to all the poodles.11 -
Morning! Off to alltment today [ didn't end up going yesterday did some jobs in my garden instead] which makes more sense really because I can go to the allotment shop on the way. I'm taking the peas with me and am hoping to work miracles there. I won't but I can hope
I made rice pudding yesterday, disaster, it was a follwed recipe but just ended up like stodge instead of a runny ish juciy one. I am still wondering how on earth my mother managed to always make a good one by eye and I can't even make a good one by a recipe....More milk next time obviously. And an oven, not a remoska.
Snoozer, hugs for you and slaps for Brian...Topsy, hope your shoulder gets well soon, must seem interminable after your sons recovery..WL, enjoy your day out, I'd come and watch if I wasn't going to a gardening thingy. Coxy, hope it's plain sailing finding the paths today! Izzy, you could have instructed your husband to take them in when dryGers, hope the dentist goes smoothly...Take care all, hope you have sun, have a good day...

Morning all, thanks @Gers for the start - hope all goes well at the dentist and your journey is stress-free. And good luck @Izzy on your first day at the CS, I'm sure you'll be fine.
It's another sunny day, temperatures might even get up to 21 deg! Tomorrow looks good too, then from Sunday onwards it's set to be much cooler and we might have some of the wet stuff.
I did a few little pottering jobs yesterday (nothing too taxing) and sat outside in the afternoon with my book. This morning's tasks are the usual Friday admin, quick run round with the vac downstairs, change the bedding; afternoon out again either reading or for a walk. Or possibly both, depending on time available and energy levels.
Shame about the rice pudding @-taff - better luck next time.
Have a good day and stress-free day everyone with hugs where needed or wanted, take care. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.10 -
Morning all
Lovely sunny day again we have been so lucky with the weather still chilly in the mornings and evenings though.
I have the dentist today as well not till lunchtime though I will nip into M&S after which is very close to get a few bits, I’m only goimg for a checkup so shouldn’t take long.
Bit of housework this morning then get the dogs out before the dentist then this afternoon maybe a rest on the sofa, dd is off today as is OH so a full house.
Dinner tonight will be some of the salmon that I got half price with some dill butter and I think I will so the tomato salad which I did last week and the green bean salad, nice light dinner.
Gers good luck at the dentist xx
Izzy hope it goes well at the CS xx
Topsy glad your recovery is going well xx
Snoozer how insensitive of Brian after all you have done for them too, hugs xx
Have good days all and take care xx10
