    As I dont think there is any time length between death and burial ( check with the company you have emlisted to deal with her burial) you could go through probate sell the house then pay the funeral bill.  If there is a time frame then you could raise a bank loan which can be repaid once the house sale goes through.

    You say there is2k in her bank account.  That would partially pay for the funeral so the remaining costs wouldnt mean a big loan.  You dont say what the costs are but is there anyway to reduce that to a more managable amount?
