I am moving to Sky broadband and they will be dealing with the switch from Virgin Media.
Since the 360 box requires Virgin internet will that also be cancelled at the same time or will I have to contact Virgin about it?

Why does 360 box require virgin interent?
Even if it was a freebe from them. It does not know who is providing the connection.Life in the slow lane0 -

They will send you some packaging to return it to them. It won't run on someone else's broadband anyway - it doesn't connect to the router in any way.0

It will still work but for on demand and anything that has to access the Internet they don't allow you to connect to any other broadband provider. The TV channels will still be delivered over cable unless you are full fibre to the property.0

I have never watched it after it was set up and couldn't care less whether it will still work.
Also I am going from paying on renewal, Virgin £58 for broadband and TV and Sky £59 for my TV package to just paying Sky £73.50 for TV and FTTP broadband I'm saving £43.50 a month.
And I can get rid of Virgin's cables going from the lounge back outside and up to the upstairs office/bedroom where the modem and phone are.
Just have to decide whether to get a PCI WIFI card or USB WIFI dongle for my desktop computer upstairs in the spare office/bedroom0
