Stamp duty refund - selling purchased property first

We brought a second property to become our main residence with a mortgage while our original home was up for sale. As such we paid higher rate stamp duty. Due to a change in circumstances we are now having to sell our purchased property and will likely end up with our original property, which is still up for sale as our sole property. Will we still be entitled to a stamp duty refund?
