Is this the same incident you posted about in April last year?

received CNBC court letter last week to which I have sent acknowledgement of service only so far. Can anyone help advise on how best to appeal this.

You aren't appealing, that time passed last year and POPLA wouldn't have worked out and isn't independent.

You aren't appealing; that time passed last year and POPLA wouldn't have worked out and isn't fully fair or industry independent.

Court claim? Just play the game:

Follow the easy 8 steps covered in the Template Defence sticky thread.

No link is needed to that Announcement, or to the NEWBIES FAQS thread - which you must also read post 2 of, especially the red heading IMPORTANT: KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN'.

    It is very easy.

See my signature below if you need a steer about how to hop straight to page one. This could not be easier once you bookmark the Template Defence thread to follow the 8 steps.

We don't want to know about DCB Legal's reply to your defence, nor the DQ, nor questions about Mediation (all are covered).

What we do collect are pictures of the Notices of Discontinuance for Umkomaas' thread, so we'll see you again in the late Autumn when you strut proudly back here with your win and a pic of the NoD.

Show us the POC and the date of issue.

Some guidance on strong lines of defence given my particular situation (ie:I parked on their land, paid in good faith but they obviously didn’t receive the money)

I did and they have come back last week threatening court action.
I appreciate your comments on the forum that Eurocarparks don’t like court, I was wanting guidance to ensure I present a robust defence in case I do get my day in court!

    Absolutely. Dead easy.

The only other thing you will gave to do is fill in a downloaded N180 this Spring, once MCOL updates to say the CNBC have posted one. See the 8 steps.

Then you can twiddle your thumbs.

With an issue date of 19/02/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 24/02/26 and before or on 10/03/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 24/03/26

Use the template as is and adjust paragraph #3 to refute what they state in the POC, i.e. no valid P&D permit purchased, so you need to refute that statement.
