Saniflo Xr macerator

Hello
thanks in advance for your help
I have the above macerator fitted in an en-suite, about 15-20 years old.
working fine, except that ever since the day I’ve had it fitted, it will drain the sink and toilet just fine but when using the shower it pumps leaves about an inch of water in the shower tray before stopping pumping

I’ve found the only way to clear it is to flush the toilet and while it’s pumping that it will pump away the remains inch of water in the shower tray.

So…my question is, is there a way to adjust the default water level inside the macerator so that it will pump away the shower waste. ?

thank you

Bob

I think you need to be very grateful that your macerator has worked largely well for so long given the horror stories you can read online! Let sleeping dogs lie and don't let any feminine hygiene products go anywhere near it!

You can see from the installation manual that the shower is meant to be a minimum of 13 centimetres above the inlet of the Saniflo.

So, one solution is to raise the shower tray, so it is within spec. Or, just keep flushing the toilet.

The manual gives a view of the parts, and I can’t see any adjustment within the Saniflo.

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
