iPhone 13 Pro notifications
This actually started some weeks ago, since then I have checked the settings (notifications turned on), switched it on an off numerous times and run a couple of IoS updates.
Are there any other fixes I could try before schlepping up to my nearest Apple store?
So much to read, so little time.

So you are wanting to receive notifications but arent?
You've checked that notification for those apps are on and set to Banners as a minimum? You've also checked those apps have the right things triggering notifications?
You presumably dont have any Focus turned on?
Have you checked the Apple Intelligence on Priotised Notifications and Summarise Notifications? Probably turn both of those off2 -
Focus and Apple Intelligence - both new concepts to me! Every day is a school day.DullGreyGuy said:So you are wanting to receive notifications but arent?

Just checked, and nothing is activated on Focus. Apple Intelligence opens up a whole new world but is only available to the 15/16 models, so again not applicable. I cannot get over the new world it opens up to the tech savvy! No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Not limited to Apple either, Google's AI for a while answered "how many muslim presidents of the USA has there been" with "The United States has had one Muslim president, Barack Hussein Obama"
Focus is a useful tool, especially if you use your phone for both work and home, you can set profiles so your kids text messages dont appear on screen when at work and your work Teams messages dont appear at the weekend etc.1 -
Agreed @DullGreyGuy - RIRO (first introduced to me by a lecturer in 1992) applies! No man is worth crawling on this earth.

It sounds like your iPhone’s notification system is glitching rather than the apps themselves. Try toggling notifications off and back on for the affected apps, and make sure they aren’t being blocked by Focus mode or Scheduled Summary. Also check that Background App Refresh is enabled so the apps can update properly. If the issue started after a recent update, reinstalling the affected apps or restarting the phone can help rebuild the notification channel. When several apps behave inconsistently like this, it’s often a system-level issue, so doing a full magfone system refresh or repair can usually get notifications working normally again.
