    Indeed they have, and for quite a long time now. I believe the Co-op first started offering a loyalty discount in Rochdale in 1844.

    I remember that 50 years ago and more my granny made sure she claimed her 'divi' at the Co-op.
    Yes they have always had dividends but I thought a loyalty card was a new thing at Coop where prices are different with/without the card same as Tesco etc
    I don't think it's new, I remember getting cheaper prices for members a good few years ago.

    Just found this ….the Co-op loyalty program has been updated. Co-op members no longer earn cash rewards or points on their purchases. Instead, they receive discounts on Co-op branded products and services, as well as non-Co-op branded items through the "Member Prices" scheme. This change was implemented on January 24, 2024

    none of that really matters though I was only offering an option as to where the OP may be shopping although we are probably never going to know
