I received this letter 3 months after I used a carpark. I got the letter on the 13th March however it was dated 7th March. I used the carpark with a friend who was having a family emergency. We were in Costa coffee trying to sort it out. As we left Costa we noticed the sign about the parking time, we went over about 30mins. I email Costa didn't receive a reply (I guess they can't do anything as they don't own the carpark) I spoke with DCBL who said I was parked there for 6hrs (which wasn't true) they emailed me a photo of my car going in to the carpark and leaving. The lady on the phone said she got my address from my V5 information (i thought as my driving licence was up to date my address would be, I've changes this now) I'm confused because my friend hasn't received a letter (so she is saying) yet she was in the carpark about 5mins before me.
Do I just ignore this?
They have also sent me a final reminder letter for £170!!
I've read up on DCBL and seen people have said to ignore ignore ignore but I'm getting concerned 😟
Thanks in advance.

Top of the forum, 3rd thread down, click on it and scroll down to see 4th post and read it carefully
You posted earlier on a Scottish thread, so which nation is yours in ?
In any case the advice given for powerless debt collectors letters is
IGNORE THEM
Come back here if you receive a Letter of Claim from DCB Legal
As for the dvla, they have a driving licence database and a V5c log book database, you must update BOTH when you move
Ps , it was the ANPR cameras that captured your vehicle movements, not Parking Eye, Parking Eye is a private parking company using mainly ANPR camera technology, as is C P PLUS in your case1 -
Whilst DCBL still send out the rubbish of "Can't pay" and the "Supreme Court", such debt collection letters MUST be ignored
Regarding the Supreme Court and Parking Eye, the ruling was simple and DCBL don not understand .... The court clearly stated that the parking charge cobered the operation of the scheme.
This did NOT INCLUDE the £70 fake that DCBL add on. County courts know all about the scam of £70 even though DCBL will call it damages which is rubbish and misleading for you and the judge.
Most judges will NOT allow the fake
Kim who signed the letter should stop misleading people and the courts and should very carefully read the Supreme court case
The fake £70 is called the OSNER SCAM which is approved by the BPA and IPC who are not fit for purpose1 -
But that's the exact same £170 threatogram already shown in the pictures in the fourth post of the NEWBIES thread.
We don't need to see these letters again on threads. Please don't post more pics of them.
If you'd read the fourth post of the NEWBIES sticky thread and looked at the images you'd have been expecting this tedious letter and would feel much calmer and empowered with the knowledge we provide here for everyone..PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Don't be sidetracked by whatever didn't happen to your friend, it's not relevant
Ignore the powerless debt collectors letters
This thread, your thread, is currently near the top of the list in this parking forum, there are half a dozen threads above it, look for the one near the top that mentions NEWBIES, select it, read it carefully, especially the post about ignoring the debt collectors1
