Nationwide Switch Offer - Plum DD auto cancelled

Hi guys,

I'm trying to help a family member whom recently went for the last Nationwide Switch offer.  The plan was to switch from the old Ulster bank account to Nationwide. 

So before we did the switch, we setup two DDs using Moneybox and Plum.  Once these were active, we went ahead with a switch date for 07/04/25 which was yesterday.  Last night we got an email from Nationwide that the switch had successfully complete. 

However we also received an email from Plum that the DD has been cancelled.  It didn't give any explanation why this happened.

What do you guys suggest we do?

Did you actually make  any transactions with Money Box and Plum?

Hi Robin, thanks for your help.  Yes we waited until both Money Box and Plum DD amounts were withdrawn from Ulster before making the switch.  Money box DD switched over fine, but Plum got cancelled.

This happened to me ages ago when I did a switch. Plum DD got cancelled and I had to set it up with the new account. No idea why.

Happened to me and I have set up with new NW account, old DD is still there - hoping this doesn't fall through
