Honeymoon Ideas - Help needed

Hi,

I'm getting married in May and I need help to book my honeymoon.

I don't know where to start and would be grateful for your help/suggestions.

What are the good sites to browse for deals?

I haven't decided on a location, but am aware of the standard honeymoon locations, but any ideas will be welcome.

Thanks in advance!

  • Best thing would be to check out Martin's holidays info on main site ... it'll give loads of tips.

Do you have a budget? Or any needs/dreams? Always good to work from those and then see what can be done!

Congrats on the wedding btw!

    Wherever iy may be make sure it is "the" place you want to go. Hopefully you will never have to think about it again. I would recommend;

    Hawaii
    Hong Kong
    New Zealand (winter though)
Costa Rica (going in May and looks absolutely fabolous)
    Scotland

    Hi,

    Honeymoon - how fantastic!

If I was planning mine all over again I wouldn't go with what everyone else does I would think about what we really wanted out of our Honeymoon then think about where we want to go.

We went to the Maldives 6 mths before we got married, perfect place for rest, relaxation and just general peace. Was fab and just what we needed, definatley a once in the lifetime.

But after doing that we wanted something more on the go and more exciting for our Honeymoon so we had 3 weeks in USA, New York, Las Vegas then Orlando, we did everything "special", Waldorf in New York, SUite in Luxor in Vegas, nice restaurants all along and lots of special treats, all in all making it memorable which I think a honeymoon needs to be but to make it so it needs to be peronel to you.

So what have you always wanted to do, where have you always wanted to go?????

Write a list each then compare and see what you come up with.

Have a fab time, and enjoy! We had a honeymoon baby so our holidays stopped there so I am glad we had such a great time!
