Good morning
Another sunny day more laundry to do, why not?
DH is taking our neighbour to the hospital for an appointment. We don't mind as they are so appreciative. They like to buy us something in return, although we tell them not to, so now big dog is getting lots of treats from them. They don't have any pets so know we can't refuse.
Tonight I'm going to try making my own beef burgers. I've not done this before, although I remember my dm making her own. I saw them on the Joe Swash programme on tv.(cant remember the name), and thought how easy they looked.
Haven't read back yet, so will wish everyone well. Take care.10 -
Morning all,@dp1 I was sorry to read the comments and had to check back yesterdays thread. Sorry it was such a scare for DD & LO.Topsy hope you recover well after your op.We went to see my DB last night, it's his birthday tomorrow, nice catch up.We thought we were going out for lunch Wed. with ex SiL but her hubby is still not well with shingles. We're waiting for the new bed being delivered this morning. The carpet fitter came at 4 o clock yesterday, we felt like we were waiting around all day but he did a good job and even tidied up the bottom step of the stairs which had come adrift without being asked. Things are slowly coming together but not there yet!DH hasn't fitted the new gate yet, waiting for stronger hinges, and after next door decided to chop the ivy down between us we can see the wooden fence higher up has gone rotten- another job! The storage cupboard has been delivered this morning but that can't now be put up until the wood has been replaced.Anyway, enjoy the continuing sunshine & enjoy the day.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Hello everyone
Thanks for all your good wishes for little one, she had been fine this morning so DD took her to school and she managed the whole day. I picked her up after school as DD was giving me a lift up, to collect a garden table and chairs I don't need anymore - she was so pleased with herself, though tired.
Yorks lass I was disappointed too , I need sun lotion and lots of other bits.
this morning to find it was very dull here, I was out early to get my hair cut. We've had lovely sunshine this afternoon though, I sat outside and read after work and then cut some of a big plant back. I'm going to have to do some sorting out for my holidays, as I need to write a shopping list for tomorrow, when I'm in town.
Hope everyone's had a good day x9
