Is it safe for a US bank to hold my savings?

Absolutely not being political here. With everything happening in America atm I’m genuinely concerned about the safety of my savings (Marcus Bank) and was considering moving them to a UK/European bank.

If you are talking about Marcus Bank UK, aka GOLDMAN SACHS INTERNATIONAL BANK (unusually an unlimited company) then it is a UK bank but one owned by a US group parent company.

As a UK bank they are subject to PRA and FCA regulation and covered by the FSCS up to £85,000
