New style ESA -Bank statements

If new-style ESA is not affected by savings, will the DWP request bank statements at any point? 

I’ve seen people on UC being asked to provide statements, I’m wondering if this is the case for new-style ESA. Thanks

No, as capital for NS doesn't matter.

I didnt have to give my bank statements to them when i claimed it. Like the OP said,  Its not means tested.

The only reason I can think of where they might request bank statements is to confirm pension income.  That can affect ESA.

Only anything means tested should trigger it.

Amount of pension is effectively 'means tested' as above a certain weekly amount it does affect the amount of 'New Style ESA' payable.
