Old shares any ideas to see if they are still valid?

Hi, just joined the forum I am trying to see if some old family shares are still valid after sadly family member passed away and I have been left with some old paperwork describing shares in a business called 'The Grimsby fish meal company ' on companies house it looks dormant so.. not sure if that ship has sailed literally! thanks in advance for any help

Looking through the filings it looked like a total dud in 1995. Looks like it's been dormant since c.2000.

You could try to contact the people and/or the company mentioned in the most recent dormant accounts - Pellagia (UK) - but I'm guessing the real question is whether they're worth anything and the answer is probably not.
