I am trying to estimate as accurately as possible the total length of mortar in our 3 bed semi To start with - the property is built on a slope - so the rear is an extra 1 metre of wall depthI count roughly 60 brick courses with 215 * 65 mm bricks - with say 10mm between each course (for mortar)Then there's the vertical…

Repointing is normally priced by the metre2 , but as Section62 stated there's other factors. The style of pointing, eg. Bucket handle, weather struck etc.
The mix eg. Lime or cement.
