Solar installation problems

My solar system was installed in November 2022 and since then, having had different problems, I'm now on my second inverter.
As my original supplier went into liquidation in August 2024, the manufacture (Growatt), informed me that I had to find an installer to replace the inverter; they don't do installations.
They sent the inverter with no problem, as it was still under warranty.
But, it is costing me £500 to get it swapped out.
We now find that the replacement inverter hasn't solved the problem and we are still getting the same error messages.
So much for expert analysis.
The installer that I found has been great and has to come back now and test the battery.
However, he is not going to do all this extra work for nothing.
At this rate, my electric savings for the last year are going to be wiped out!
Do I have any recourse at all with the manufacturer whose fault this all is?

Your consumer rights are with the installer. So unless they had a 3rd party (Insurance backed warranty) which might cover this. You are out of luck as far as installer goes..
The only link you would have with Growatt is going to be the warranty on the product. That will depend on the terms of the warranty.
What parts are covered by their warranty?
Has the new installer confirmed where the problem is?
As you really need to find out, before you can even think of going back to the manufacture.Life in the slow lane1
