Heathrow parking charge paid one day late but I could still select my date

Hi
Drove friends to airport on Saturday and then had an event late that evening and forgot to pay it on Sunday.
I remember today(Monday) and could still choose to select Saturday when entering my details, so paid £6 online, after paying I then researched how long you had to pay and it said upto 12pm day after visiting, am I now going to recieve a fine as I technically paid a day late, I'm even more annoyed that it let me select the Saturday as now if the fine comes through I will be paying them £46 as I've already payed £6, they really don't give you long to pay the charge 😡

There's no fine, only an invoice for breach of contract, but you won't be paying them anything.Heathrow Airport is not "relevant land" and there is no keeper liability as a result. If their system let you select Saturday then payment has been made and this should be pointed out in the keeper appeal that you will be sending, the same appeal that refuse their invitation to name the driver (which is the only way they can find out who that was).Go and look at the other airport threads and you will see these charges are easy to dispute.Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'

So what if they do send a PCN?!
I don't think they will - but it's impossible to lose on appeal v APCOA, as long as you DON'T IMPLY WHO WAS DRIVING.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think @randomFaith13 means the drop off heathrow charge. If you receive a PCN for failing to pay the drop off charge I believe you need to pay this as its not a private parking invoice and not governed by PoFA. The PCN is enforceable under airport byelaws, not just a civil invoice.
Do correct me if I am wrong!!

Sounds like a variation of contract to me. If you knocked on their door and asked if you could pay £6 for the other day and they said yes and took your money they can't then sue you for not paying earlier.
"You paid us, but you paid us wrong" cases are rarely successful for them in court. Just ask Excel!

Do correct me if I am wrong!!You ARE wrong!APCOA never do court even on relevant land. They can't even explain their position to any challenge in their attempted bye-law scam, they just produce a total mishmash word sandwich and give up.By all means join in but please familiarise yourself by researching this forum more in depth, try starting with the newbies thread. You have come up with a very "interesting" attempt as a first post as CC says!2
