  • How long does it usually take them to cash the cheque?
  • no idea but given they must get hundreds every day I wouldn't start worrying yet.

    Update on mine - 
    07/04 10:49 (Monday) Will posted at Post Office with Next Day guaranteed delivery tracked & signed for service
    08/04 11:50 (Tuesday) Royal Mail tracking shows delivery to Harlow, signed for by 'Andy W' 
    15/04 12:45 (Tuesday week) e-mail from Probate Registry received to say they have received the documents.

    18/04  09:15 (Bank holiday!) Received an e-mail from the Probate Registry to say that probate has been approved and grant will be with me in the post within 10 working days.
