Dodgy QR code

I stupidly scanned a dodgy QR code that was on youtube, using my android Motorola phone. I've deleted it from the phone but concerned it have put spyware onto it. I've checked the apps list and don't see anything new. I don't have a banking app but have set up alert texts should anything over a certain amount be spent. That's also where my OTP codes go. Can the QR code hack these alerts and codes from my bank? Is there anything I should do to make my phone safe?

You are probably fine, why do you think the QR code was dodgy? If it had sent you to a website and you'd interacted with it then that might be more of an issue.
Android has virus and malware checks built in, and apps are firewalled unless you specifically give them access to each other.
You can download a malware checker app, Bitdefender and/or Sophos Intercept X are recommended by the tech sites and are free.
But to really be sure....
Factory reset the phone which will, of course, delete all your data both wanted and otherwise.

Thanks for reply. I'm usually very careful. It was an ad showing the Dyson creator saying -'you've been selected..... money to be made'. After scanning the code and nothing happening (not directed to a website), I then logged onto YouTube on my laptop and then saw the 'it's a scam' comments. Never again.0

Do any of those "it's a scam" comments give any indication as to what the scam might actually consist of?

They said it wasn't actually J.Dyson talking in the advert but AI generated.0
