Redacted front page of NTK for @Coupon-mad. I suspect they've set it at £25 as it's very tempting just to avoid the agro of dealing with them.

    Thanks!

Useful to see the £25 offer which proves that the £100 is totally unnecessary and £170 is rip-off unjust enrichment. Totally unfair that they say 'within 14 days of the date of the notice' which in fact gives most people a week if you're lucky.

Compare that to s10 Council & TFL postal notices that have to allow a fair 21 days from the date of service (a full 3 weeks). More people would pay if given the 21 days that Local Authorities do.

    Hello,

I'm wondering if you can provide the template you used to appeal you parking fine at Stansted express dropoff. They are now charging £60 if paid within q4 days.  I see you appeal was successful, can you provide a template or something.

    Many thanks

Notwithstanding all the other reasons why the PCN isn't valid the total time spent on site was 3m:52s according to the entry/exit times. Is that not within the grace period in any case?

The template for Airport PCNs is in the Gatwick Heathrow drop off group thread. Search the forum and ye shall find.

Should be! And you are quite right: without warnings before the zone and an alternative route to escape the charge, there was never a contract.

    Well done on your win!

Many thanks to all above for the advice.  My son got caught by this in my car, while picking up from the airport.  He said he would pay but I too hate the money-grabbing charges 'discounted' to £60 if you pay now! Well, for a 5 minute stop thats £12 per minute.  That's just legalised theft. I've appealed as the registered keeper albeit without photos, using some of your information. Will post if successful.  Thanks again.

You can't lose as long as the driver is not admitted. Dead easy!
