They way they manipulate showing of the prices (my opinion) is misleading. You don't know what price you're going to get until you've bought something. It's Horrible, it can be miles from the price they show. They do have an excuse, which presumably is legal.
CSH2’s price moves with gilt yields, and you lose a bit to stamp duty and the spread.

I actually like Hargreaves Lansdown and was with them for many years but a few months back decided to try interactive investor, mainly for the cheaper fees but am now beginning to regret the decision.
The ii online platform I am not finding it as easy to navigate around. It seems very much to be geared towards the shares investor with funds bolted on.Their fund screening isn’t brilliant and I had to send them a message to find out where it was as apart from their shortlisted funds, the wider range is nowhere to be seen on their website. You have to have logged in and gone through one of the tabs to locate it.
I also wanted to add a lump sum recently but again this was more difficult than it should have been.
Add to that all the unnecessary shares and economic news they send each week which I have now turned off.
i am all for lower fees but there needs to be a decent platform which is easy to use that isn’t clunky or cumbersome for the average person that doesn’t want to spend too much time on it each month.
I may move back to HL which worked perfectly fine.0 -
I may move back to HL which worked perfectly fine.
I have recently had SIPPs and ISA's with HL, Fidelity and AJ Bell and found all three were fine with good websites and responsive customer service.
With Fidelity and HL, I mainly stuck to ETF's and IT's , which keeps the fees down.
Regarding marketing, the stuff HL send is just that - simple marketing.
AJ Bell Shares magazine online is the more interesting and informative.
Fidelity stuff is something inbetween, although podcasts of their seminars are OK.

The OP is looking to move a LISA though, is it possible to hold LISA's with T212 or Iweb?
