how much service fee is for providing stamp duty Land TAX calculation document for staircasing?

Hi.

I have been trying to do staircasing for my shared ownership property and my property lawyer could not calculate the stamp duty Land TAX for me, so I need to have someone or a company which provides me SDLT calculation document for HMRC.

Does anyone know which company does it and how much could it be?

I am looking forward to hearing soon.

Thanks in advance.

With some help from people on this website you should be able to do the calculation yourself. As @silvercar says, if you give us the relevant details then we should be able to help you. Here are the kind of things we need.

    Is the property in England?

Did you buy it direct from a social Landlord (or perhaps you bought it from a previous owner who themselves had bought it from a social Landlord).

What percentage did you initially buy, what was the property then worth and what  did you pay for it?

    When did you buy?

Do you know whether the election was made to pay SDLT all in one go when the property was first bought from the social Landlord?

Has there been any staircasing since?

What share are you now looking to buy in the property?

What is the property now worth and how much will you be paying for that?

You do not have any interest in any other properties?
