1st time pip application

     Is there a timescale for a new pip application or is it 'how long is a piece of string'  I've read reviews are taking quite a while but can't find anything for new ones.

Youve answered your own question.   How far in the process are you?

At times it does seem regional as to how long people are waiting between returning the form and getting an assessment.  Some find the wait time relatively short, others its a while.   From what I can gather priority may appear to be given to new claims against re-assessment.

     It's a friend that has just sent in an online application peteuk not myself. It  was only  send 4 weeks ago and I thought like yourself that new applications may be processed before a review.
