I have office 2016 running on my PC
How do I change my outlook password in Outlook (part of office) - I have just reset it on-line but can't receive or send emails until I change it in Office
I can't find how or where to change it
I have googled it on line and it seems to think that I am talking about Outlook.com - I am not
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

OK It seems that my hotmail account has somehow become a Microsoft Exchange account and won't let mechange the password - how do I get it back to a POP/SMTP type of account ?Does exchange need an exchange server ?This is a home account on a single PC

Microsoft hosted accounts are now on Exchange. After changing the Hotmail password online, Outlook 2016 should have prompted for the updated password next time it tried to sync.0
