State Pension - Find your (pay)day of the week!

Yes if you ask nicely they will do this. A nice bank top up every Wednesday makes my day.

Should do. What happened with both of us is we claimed by phone, specifying weekly. We each then got two letters - first one acknowledging the claim but giving dates and figures for four weekly, the other acknowledging a "change" and giving dates and amounts for weekly payment. 

To be fair there was no argument when we asked for weekly, I was expecting at least an attempt like "most people find four weekly more convenient".
