I'm thinking to just send a cca request. Please be honest and tell me what you would do? But if I'd sent that letter, I would not be sending text messages to to call to discuss account 🙄0 -
You do not respond to a letter before claim, by sending a CCA request, you must fill in the form appropriately and return it within 30 days or you will receive a claim form next.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Its not a "they" its an "it", they likely want to get you to agree to something that takes away your statutory rights without completing the LBA, then you might find a claim against you anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. So I return ticking box C and I but again I ask for copy CCA?
yes, as @fatbelly said " Tick Box C and I and ask for everything."
That "everything" you ask for in Box I includes the CCA agreement.
I never think there is much point in wondering about why a creditor is doing something.0 -
My husband is staying do not sign the form. He says just print name only as thinks these could then copy and use my signature.0

What use is your signature to anyone?
Its already been said that copy credit agreements are not required to be signed in order to be valid.
There are a lot of paranoid points of view circulating on the internet, best to stick to the common sense approach.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
