Lets just see what happens between this afternoon (US markets opening at 14:30), overnight (Asia) and into tomorrow morning (Europe and UK).
If you want to be rich, live like you're poor; if you want to be poor, live like you're rich.

It's now getting very close to me diving back in. I moved a big chunk of HMWO into CSH2 just after the US election, partly as a hedge, partly as an opportunity fund.

HMWO is now about 20% down on my November sale price. I wasn't expecting the opportunity to come quite so soon!
Better opportunties may well lie ahead. The impact of the tariff's hasn't even been felt yet financially.

Agreed, I'm probably going to drip feed back in as I'm certainly not smart to call the bottom here... I just take comfort that I'm notionally up versus just having not sold in the first place.

Who knows what will happen. Even Trump could get spooked and row back with a pause to allow for negotiations.

    Yes, anything can happen.

Things could get much worse, or begin to improve this week, or maybe even tomorrow. No one can predict which nations will do what and when.

There is much going on behind the scenes both locally and globally - intrigue, machination, double-bluff.

I remember thinking Covid would be the end of days, holding off investing till things really bottomed out.

Lo and Behold, the markets picked up...

I'd have made considerably more by investing at intervals whilst still going down.

I just bought this year's ISA, it might not be optimal, but since I already have lots in, why not?
