switching pensions and tax relief

I've recently switched a SIPP from Fidelity to Charles Stanley.

Charles Stanley sent me a message saying my switch was complete and the balance for the Fidelity SIPP was nil. £100 tax relief has now appeared in my Fidelity account, with another £100 pending.

Will that £200 go across automatically, or do I need to do anything else?

Should I ask Fidelity to close the SIPP?

If you no longer want to have a SIPP with them, then yes.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

Thanks - I think I'll wait until the other £100 drops.

I recently transferred a Sipp and the remaining tax relief wasn’t transferred , it was only when I logged into my old account I saw it sitting there.
Also when I transferred another pension, I was still receiving statements 3 months after the transfer had been done showing there was still a balance.

never trust anyone to do anything correctly !

Its normal to require a mop up transfer around 3 months after.  Dividend distributions, tax relief, interest payment all often arrive after the initial transfer.  With most platforms, you need to manually request it.

    Thanks @dunstonh

I'm happy to do that - I just didn't expect to need it.
