Morning all
Lovely day here again but chilly we will possibly light the fire tonight as we tend to stay up later at the weekends and it gets colder in the evenings.
Day off for me today which is much needed four days of caring for others is enough for me and by Friday I am done ! Rob was much better behaved yesterday thank goodness he is a delight to have but I needed to stop that behaviour immediately as that would not be fun all the time.
Taking mum to the Dr this afternoon she keeps getting really bad upset tummy so I think she is going to need some tests done, I am really susceptible to palm oil so it may be that for her too.
DD and I have done a lot of research into Albania and have decided that it’s not for us, tales of filthy streets and bad food and scammers have put us off slightly so we are having a week in Corfu instead we booked a lovely place yesterday so really looking forward to it.
Not sure about dinner tonight I will go and check the freezer after this.
TA Happy Birthday to your dd xx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Morning all, I nipped out before 9 to try and catch the post before it was emptied.I'm sending a card to a cousin who missed our lunch the other day. Apparently she had a fall and broke a bone in her back.We don't know many further details as her sister didn't make it either.DH has taken his car to the garage for them to check something.Snoozer, we loved Slow horses.Just had a hoover round but a robot one sounds a good idea. Our 'big' one is getting too heavy for me to push round,my wrists always end up aching.I haven't had a food delivery this week but we called at an al di when we went to the tip so we're sorted , prob pork steaks for tea. No early morning boys footie tomorrow as DGS is going away for the weekend. DGD is feeling much better too after antibiotics kicked in.More sorting stuff out upstairs before decorating the bedroom, and some garden tidying too.I was going to trim next doors ivy that comes over the fence but DS says he's seen a bird making a nest on the top. There was 1 last year too, so I'll leave that for a bit.Hope it's a good day for you all & that pesky wind drops a bit!:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. @Ruby - I'm so glad that you have decided to avoid Albania. Although it looks so beautiful in parts I was worried about you both going. Corfu sounds perfect!I've made an appointment with an optician in Oban. Some friends had already recommended her to me so it was an easy decision to make.7
