Never heard of Hengian panels (read into that what you will). For your perspective, here's what two of the installers I use offer:

    11 X Eurener 500W Bifacial panels (5.5kW system) +
    Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kW) with Gateway 2.

£10.8K installed. G99, bird netting and 10 year workmanship warranty included. If more panels fit, they're £250 each.

The system size is 10% larger, the panels are superior, the PW3 is class leading. You also get whole house backup, storm watch, a great app and compatibility with the very lucrative Octopus Intelligent Flux.

The above should highlight can do much better for the £!

    -  10 x 400w LG Bifacial + 6 x 550W SHARP BiFacial + 2 570W SHARP Bifacial + 5kW SolarEdge Inverter + SolarEdge Optimizers. SE London.

    -  Triple aspect. (33% ENE.33% SSE. 34% WSW)

    -  Viessmann 200-W on Advanced Weather Comp. (The most efficient gas boiler sold)

The local vs. national installer debate is still going strong but if there's one thing I recommend, it's to ensure the installer covering your area has been trading for more than 7 years and offer quality PV component brands.

I have not heard of them either ( read into that my lack of knowledge of all the manufacturers rather than a [EDIT] quality statement.
A quick search on the net:
    "

    DMEGC Company Profile

Part of the Hengdian Group based in China, DMEGC Solar is one of the earliest solar panel manufacturers. It was established in 1980 and is now a world-leading renewable energy company, producing residential, commercial, and industrial solar panels.

The company makes high-efficiency products at five manufacturing plants in China – in Hengdian, Sihong, Qixian, Yibin, and Lianyungang – and at a further factory in Indonesia. These solar panels can be found in more than 80 countries and regions, including the UK."

I knew I'd heard of them; there have been a few recent quotes shared on this forum where they've been offered DMEGC panels. But I don't recall seeing them on the UK market before this year, even if they have been around as a business since 1980.
Solar PV was really niche back then, so they might've been making something completely different? A bit like Berkshire Hathaway was originally a textile manufacturer.

They are the cheapest of all panels wholesale and are among the latest entrants from China.
