Cheap Energy Club confusion - help!

I'm confused by quotes I get on Cheap Energy Club - it's not clear to me whether the quoted savings take into account early exit fees? I assume they do as the quote engine knows exactly what supplier & tariff I'm on and therefore knows it's a £100 exit fee as this is before the free period 49 days before my tariff ends. Otherwise all the quoted savings which are sub £90/yr are also less than the exit fee. Which would mean all quotes in my case are currently useless! Can someone confirm please?

In general I feel more detail on most of the deals would help to fully expose the offer *before* hitting the button to transfer me to the supplier portal where I'm sometimes required to invest time on a repeat of entering all details...

Thanks in advance.

Exit fees aren't included in the 'savings'. If you have exit fees of £100, then as you have said, all the quoted savings of £90 aren't worth it for you to switch.

It does say in a box at the top of the page on the results page of the MSE cheap energy club:

"Below we compare other tariffs to your current fix's rate.
    • Switch now though and you'll likely have to pay early exit fees (click 'show details' above) - though it may be waived if you switch to your existing firm.
    • You can't be charged exit penalties within 49 days of your fix ending."
